California vs. Bordeaux Wine Workshop

Fri, Sep 11th, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM – Click here for tickets!

Moderate-to-full-bodied winedrinkers rejoice! This is the class for you. Bordeaux may once have cornered the market on stunning, age-worthy Cabernet-based wines, but California is leading the New World pack when it comes to close competition. All of Bordeaux’s blending grapes, in fact–Cabernet, Merlot, Cab Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec–have found equal success in sunny California. Bordeaux better watch its back; California might give it a run for its money. In this competitive class, you’ll look at wines from the States and from across the pond, comparing for flavor, age-ability, and experience. You’ll learn about how history, tradition, and modernity have shaped these winemaking regions. And by evening’s end, you’ll likely be Team Old World or Team New World. See more at:
