Greek Wine by the Vine

Wed, Mar 16th, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM – Click here for tickets!

Wine production in Greece dates back to 4000 B.C., making it one of the first civilizations to produce, consume, and sell wine. Today, Greek wines cover a wide spectrum of flavor profiles. Many Greek white wines are high acid, mineral-driven wines that offer excellent food pairing opportunities. Red wines from Greece are focused and range in style from light-bodied, quaffable wines to full-bodied wines that offer the kind of structure that makes wine enthusiasts stand and take notice. Join us as we explore some Grecian treasures through a flight of wines, focusing on some of Greece’s most compelling varietals and wine-producing regions. We’ll also have some Greek-inspired snacks on hand to demonstrate how well these unique wines go with food. It’s only a matter of time before the grape names Assyrtiko, Moschofilero, and Xinomavro fall from your lips as easily as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. – See more at:
