Italian Wine Dinner: Piedmont with G.D. Vajra

Italian wine doesn’t have to be intimidating, and it doesn’t have to be expensive to be good. G.D. Vajra winery is an Astor favorite that offers a wide range of food-friendly wines, from dry Riesling to delicate Moscato to the legendary Barolo. Join us for a six-course dinner with the young and lively Giuseppe Vaira and an evening of fun food-and-wine pairings. Chef Emily Peterson will present each wine in two pairings: one traditional Italian and one creative alternative that demonstrates the versatility of these gems from Piedmont.
