Riesling “Vinothek,” Nikolaihof – 1997 $199.96
A bit of time can turn good Riesling into a work of art. This ’97, from the excellent Austrian producer Nikolaihof, was aged 17 years in cask before bottling. Fresh, mouthwatering, and powerful, this is wine to engage the senses and mind. – TT

Lugana, Ca’ Lojera – 2015 $17.96
Ca’ Lojera is at home on the southern bank of Lake Garda. This small winery is known for mineral-driven wines balanced with pristine fruit. White flowers, a touch of melon, and lime zest are on display. Italian Chablis, anyone? – EG

Dom. des Cassagnoles Blanc, Côte de Gascogne – 2016 $9.96
This wine is a fruit basket (lemon, green apple, peach, white nectarine) strewn with garlands of flowers (honeysuckle, white blossom) and fresh green herbs. It’s a perfect house white — bright, juicy, fruity, and refreshing, with a clean mineral edge. – ES

Albariño, Fefinanes – 2015 $22.96
Based in the seaside town of Comados, this is one of the oldest wineries of the region, and the experience shows. Made from grapes grown near the Atlantic coast, this wine has a lovely streak of salinity. It’s bright, refined, and sharply focused with gorgeous wet-stone and notes of pear, white peach, and lemon. – AM

Bergerac Blanc, Ch. le Payral – 2016 $12.96
Located in southwest France (not far from Bordeaux), the Bergerac appellation, well-known for sweet wine, also produces aromatic, citrusy, crisp white wine. This is a perfect example. – MB

Idlewild “The Bee”, North Coast – 2015 $21.96
Looking for a groovy new white wine to drink? Idlewild uses northern Italian varieties grown in Mendocino County to create beautifully balanced wines with great character. This blend is aromatic, but not overpowering. Enjoy it over the course of a few hours (if possible) as it changes quite a bit from start to finish! – BR
