Daniel grew up in the drinks industry as the grandson of the founder of Astor Wines & Spirits. Exposed to wine education at a young age, he moved on to pursue his own passion for distilled spirits and traveled the world to gather a better understanding of spirit production. His travels landed him in Scotland, where he spent time working in all areas of the Scotch whisky industry. While there, he studied to receive a Master of Science in Brewing and Distilling. He lives a multinational life, with his time split between the USA and Scotland. Favorite Drink: Whisky alongside a nice craft beer. Favorite Meal/Food: A good NYC pizza can't be beaten.
