A Light And Fun Organic Red For Summer

Château La Tour Grise has been certified organic and biodynamic for over 10 years now, and offers up wines that are concentrated, fruit-driven, and filled with a deep and persistent minerality. The vineyards are housed on part of a 15th century mansion in the heart of Le Puy-Notre-Dame, a tiny town perched upon a hill overlooking the vineyards of the Loire Valley, which have been under vine for over 1,000 years. This wine is vinified from the rare and playful grape Pineau d’Aunis, seen only sporadically in the Loire but known for its spiciness and flexibility with the wide variety of cuisine served up in the Valley. With a bit of a chill, this wine will pair well with everything from fatty fishes to rich pâtes to the cheeses for which this incredible wine region is known.
